The 2023 CQUniversity Confraternity Carnival Opening Ceremony and Opening Mass have concluded.
The Captain’s meeting was held prior to the ceremony where players were addressed by QISSRL President Peter Elmore and Vice President Paul Canning.
At the conclusion of the captain’s meeting, players were involved in the indigenous jersey cleansing ceremony before arriving at St Laurence’s College Edmund Rice Performing Arts Centre for the commencement of the Opening Ceremony and Opening Mass.
Confraternity Carnival 2023 is now underway with the first games kicking off from 8:40am tomorrow.
